Main Stage This stage is the showcase of the festival. It is the biggest one and it has welcomed a lot of metal living legends in the course of its history. Located, on the new site, at the bottom of the field, the big, massive stage is the Hellfest’s leading bands’ playground. With its two commercial side banners and its high steel structure, the stage dominates the thousands of people who gather in the field in front of it. For this year’s edition, the stage will welcome hard rock monsters like Def Leppard, Kiss, ZZ Top or Whitesnake but it will also welcome more metal bands like the guys of Down and the Frenchies of Gojira. Thus, if the other stages of the festival are divided by style, this one is a little bit apart. It cannot be classified by music style but rather taken as the Titans’ arena.
